Tims Ford Clean Water Project

Tims Ford is a beautiful lake in southern Tennessee, created by a dam of the Elk River in 1970. However, the water quality of Tims Ford has been rated as ‘poor’ since TVA started reporting water quality in 1994. 

Our goal is to improve the water quality in Tims Ford through outreach, education, and intervention.
